Mumbai, Nov. 17 -- Five students from a private school in Ghatkopar were admitted to hospital on Monday after developing symptoms of suspected food poisoning following the consumption of samosas from the school canteen. The incident occurred at around 2:15 pm at KVK School, located on Sainath Road in Indra Nagar, Ghatkopar West.
According to initial information from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, the children, aged 10 to 11 years, experienced nausea and vomiting shortly after eating the canteen snack. The school security guard alerted staff, after which the affected students were taken to Rajawadi Hospital for medical assessment.
