Nashik, Jan. 4 -- In a bizarre accident, a leopard and a farmer died after falling into a well in Shivde village of Sinnar taluka in the district today, creating tension in the area.
This afternoon, Gorakh Jadhav was watering his crop in the Savta Mali Nagar area of Shivde village. After finishing his work, he sat near the well for lunch. While he was eating, a leopard attacked him. Jadhav resisted the leopard.
During the struggle, both the leopard and Jadhav fell into the well. Injured Jadhav died.
After learning about the incident, the villagers rushed to the well. The Forest department was also informed.
