Pune, June 14 -- Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Saturday reviewed preparations of Shri Kshetra Dehu and Shri Kshetra Alandi ahead of the Palkhi (palanquin) ceremony at Vidhan Bhavan in Mumbai. Speaking at the meeting, he gave directions that during the Ashadhi Palkhi ceremony, care should be taken to ensure that the Warkaris (devotees) do not face any kind of trouble, provide necessary facilities at the palkhi base, the place of stay and the entire palkhi route, He assured that the government will provide necessary funds for the ceremony.
