Pune, June 21 -- Carrying forward the legacy of service started by late Maniksheth Dugad of Dugad Group, his successors on Saturday distributed food and Shabnam bags to the Warkaris, who are staying here overnight while on their way to Pandharpur for Ashadhi Ekadashi festival.

Like every year, this year too, the Warkaris were given a warm welcome by the Dugad Group in Pune.

Gaurav Pramod Dugad of Dugad Group said that they have distributed Shabnam bags to 10,000 Warkaris, sarees to female Warkaris and food to more than 500 Warkaris to last the entire journey to Pandharpur, including sago, rice, sugar, jaggery, peanuts, gudani, biscuits. UNI SP SS
