Mumbai, Sept. 29 -- The Maharashtra State Examination Board has decided to extend the deadline for the submission of examination forms for Class 12 students to October 20 following heavy rains and flood-like situation in many parts of the state.
Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde spoke over the phone with Education Minister Dadaji Bhuse and instructed him to extend the deadline, said Shinde today.
The last date for submission of exam forms for Class 12 students in the state was earlier set for September 30. However, due to ongoing heavy rains and flood-like conditions in Marathwada, Nashik, Solapur, Ahilyanagar, and other regions, students were unable to submit their forms within the stipulated time.
