Mumbai, Jan. 27 -- A MCOCA court in Beed on Monday remanded a prime accused in the Maharashtra's Beed sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh murder case, from judicial custody to the police (CID) custody till January 31.

Accused Sudarshan Ghule was produced before the special Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) court and on production, police moved a remand application seeking his transfer from judicial custody to police custody, as they wanted to investigate the digital data and seized mobile phones.

The same was granted by the court and accused was transferred to police custody.
