Kolhapur, March 28 -- The district and sessions court here on Friday extended police custody of so-called journalist Prashant Koratkar, who had threatened city-based historian, by two days till March 30.

Upon expiry of his three-day police remand, the city police produced Koratkar before the court amidst tight security.

In the court, public prosecutor Surykant Powar and complainant's lawyer Asim Sarode demanded online to extend police custody of Koratkar for further investigation.

After hearing arguments of both prosecution and defence counsels, Sessions Judge S S Tat extended police custody of Koratkar by two days till March 30.
