Mumbai, May 4 -- A court here has convicted 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts Mohammed Farooq Yasin Mansoor alias Farooq Takla, to five years in jail in a case where he forged a passport using someone else's identity, a lawyer said here on Sunday.
Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate R D Chavan in its order on Saturday said, ''Evidence on record that is oral and documentary evidence shows that accused Mohammed Farooq Yasin Mansoor alias Farooq Takla applied for the passport and renewal of passport by using the name Mustaq Mohammed Miya, which is not his real name.
