Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, April 21 -- Amidst ongoing agitation by opposition Shiv Sena (UBT) over water crisis in city, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday reviewed the water situation in the city online from the divisional commissioner's office.
When Fadnavis became the chief minister for first time, a water supply scheme worth Rs 1,680 crore was approved for Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in the year 2018. But in 2019, there was a change of power in the state and the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government came to power under the leadership of Uddhav Thackeray.
