Mumbai, June 5 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday virtually inaugurated the
Thane Creek Bridge No 3 South Channel on the Sion-Panvel Mahamarg, marking a major step forward in
boosting connectivity between Mumbai and Pune.
This new bridge is a significant addition to the Mumbai-Pune highway and stands as a milestone in modern
engineering and infrastructure development.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, Minister
Dadaji Bhuse, MoS Meghna Bordikar and other dignitaries.
An audiovisual presentation was also showcased, offering insights into this landmark project and its role in
easing traffic congestion on the busy corridor.
