Ahilyanagar, May 31 -- On occasion of the tercentenary of Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar, the celebrated queen of the Maratha-ruled Malwa kingdom, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Saturday visited the Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Memorial at Jamkhed in Chaundi taluka of the district and paid their respects.
On this occasion, Chairman of the Legislative Council Prof Ram Shinde, Ministers Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Atul Save, MLA Gopichand Padalkar, district collector Dr Pankaj Asia, Zilla Parishad chief executive officer Anand Bhandari were present.
On this occasion, both the CM and DyCM also visited the Mahadev temple in the area of Ahilyabai Holkar memorial and offered their prayers.
