Ch. Sambhajinagar, Aug. 23 -- The State Election Commission has approved the draft ward structure for the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation elections, with the city to be divided into 29 electoral wards ahead of the upcoming civic polls.
Deputy Commissioner Vikas Nawale confirmed the approved ward structure plan was published on the municipal website after the commission's approval order was received last night.
The Urban Development Department had earlier directed the municipal corporation to form wards based on the principle of one electoral ward comprising four administrative wards.
