Nagpur, Dec. 21 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today expressed deep sorrow over an industrial accident at Avaada company in the Butibori MIDC area of Nagpur, in which six workers lost their lives and nine injured, the CMO office said.
In a statement, the Chief Minister said the incident was "extremely unfortunate" and paid heartfelt tributes to the deceased.
He informed that nine workers were injured in the accident and are currently undergoing treatment and prayed for their speedy recovery.
Fadnavis said he is in constant touch with the Nagpur District Collector, who is coordinating with the concerned agencies to manage the situation.
