Pune, April 19 -- Hemant Patil, the Apni Prajahit Party candidate for the Pune Lok Sabha constituency, on Friday filed a complaint with the district collector alleging that election expenditure of other candidates such as Supriya Sule, Sunetra Pawar, Ravindra Dhangekar have exceeded limit set by the Election Commission.

In a letter addressed to the collector, he said that Supriya Sule, Sunetra Pawar and Ravindra Dhangekar have filed the nominations for Baramati and Pune LS constituencies, respectively.

These candidates have incurred huge expenses while filing their nominations, he claimed and alleged that Ms Sule has spent Rs 1.02 crore, Ms Pawar Rs 1.05 crore and Dhangekar Rs 99 lakh.
