Mumbai, June 5 -- A local court has acquitted a cleaning staff of a Mumbai government hospital, accused of capturing the video of a lady doctor while she was changing clothes after an operation, due to lack of evidence, according to a copy of the order made available on Thursday.

Metropolitan magistrate D M Mata in his order passed on May 29 said that police failed to collect CCTV (close circuit TV camera) footage from the spot of the incident and cited various other grounds while acquitting the accused.

According to the details, on January one, 2020, a senior resident at the hospital had alleged that the accused, assigned with cleaning and sweeping duties, had taken a video of her while she was changing clothes after an operation. The wo...
