Nanded, Dec. 9 -- A Zilla Parishad school teacher in Nanded district has been suspended after a video surfaced showing him dancing in an intoxicated state inside a classroom, a senior official said on Tuesday.
The incident occurred at a school in Shekpur, Mahur taluka, and involved teacher Anant Verma, who was reportedly under the influence of alcohol while students were present.
The footage, recorded by a parent, shows Verma entering the classroom visibly drunk and beginning to dance in front of the children. Several frightened students allegedly ran out of the room during the episode. The viral video led to swift administrative attention.
