Mumbai, Sept. 15 -- In an anti-Naxal operation, the Gadchiroli Police in Maharashtra nabbed an active Maoist with a reward of Rs two lakhs on his arrest, official sources confirmed today.
The Maoist was picked up while he was doing a recce in the Tirkameta forest under Tadgaon Police Post (Bhamragad subdivision), the sources said.
The Maoist, identified as Shankar Bhima Mahaka (32), resident of Paraynar in Gadchiroli, was arrested by an Anti-Naxal Team yesterday.
