Mumbai, Sept. 13 -- Offices of various political parties, including that of the Congress Party, located in the Nariman Point area, were temporarily shifted at the government's request for metro construction work.
The Metro Corporation had assured that once the work was completed, all the party offices, including that of the Congress Party, would be rebuilt at the same location.
However, the Metro Corporation has now sold this space to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) without informing the Congress Party.
Demanding cancellation of this deal, senior Congress spokesperson Sachin Sawant said that the Congress office should be reconstructed at its original place in Nariman Point.
