Palghar, Sept. 29 -- With the COVID pandemic still continuing in the country, the Palghar district administration on Tuesday sent out an alert regarding the entry of the Crimean Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) in the district.

The Deputy Commissioner of Animal Husbandry said in an official release on Tuesday that the disease has been found in some districts of Gujarat and is also prevalent in Congo, Iran, Africa, China and Hungary.

The Palghar District Animal Husbandry Department has instructed people to take all necessary precautions and implement preventive measures.
