Prayagraj, Jan. 8 -- With the commencement of Magh Mela 2026 from January 3 in Prayagraj, large numbers of devotees from across the country have begun arriving in the Sangam city.

Keeping in mind the scale of the religious gathering and the convenience of devotees, the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department has set up four temporary Tourism Information Centres at key locations across the city.

These centres, established at Parade Ground, Nagvasuki Temple, Prayagraj Chhivki Junction railway station and near Arail Ghat, are playing an important role in guiding pilgrims and tourists. Since the start of the Magh Mela, nearly 20 lakh visitors have already availed assistance from these centres.
