Chennai, Dec. 27 -- A Charistmas vacation Bench has granted condition interimbail to controversial YouYuber Savukku Shankar.
After the Bench comprising Justices S M Subramaniam and P Dhanabal grantedthe bail on a habeas corpus petition filed by his mother A.Kamala seeking bail onmedical grounds as he was a cardiac patient having been implanted with two stentsdue to 95 per cent block in his coronary artery and also a chronic diabetic.
She said since her son has to undergo medcal treatment from a cardiologist anddiabetologist, she sought bail and the Bench granted him bail for 12 weeks takinginto account his health condition under Article 21 of the Constitution (Right to Lifeand Personal Liberaty) which also includes Right to Health.
