New Delhi, Sept. 30 -- Madonna has opened up about one of the darkest periods of her life, admitting she contemplated suicide during a painful custody battle over her son Rocco.
In a candid conversation with Jay Shetty on his On Purpose podcast, released this week, the pop icon reflected on personal struggles, spirituality, and reconciliation with estranged family members.
The two-hour interview marks her first podcast appearance in nearly a decade.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Madonna said her lowest point came in 2016, when her then-16-year-old son chose to live with his father, filmmaker Guy Ritchie, in London amid her Rebel Heart Tour.
