Ujjain (MP), Aug. 20 -- A man has been arrested in this district on the charge of pouring petrol on his father's countenance and setting it alight.
The grievously injured victim was hospitalised. The incident occurred last evening at Jafla village in Badnagar Police Station limits.
Police said that when Rajendra Singh Hada (38) returned after selling onions, his father, Bhoor Singh, expressed objection.
Rajendra misbehaved with his sire. Kin doused the fire and rushed Bhoor to an infirmary. His wife complained to the police. A plastic bottle containing petrol and a lighter was seized from the accused.
Rajendra was presented in court and remanded in judicial custody.
