Bhopal, May 6 -- Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced on Tuesday that a mock drill will be conducted in five cities of the state on Wednesday at 4 pm.
The drill will simulate emergency situations, including sounding of sirens, blackout and evacuation procedures.
The mock drill is being conducted in accordance with the directives of the Union Home Ministry, which has instructed various states and Union Territories to conduct a mock drill on civil security measures on Wednesday.
The cities participating in the drill are Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur and Katni.
Yadav stated that detailed guidelines have been issued to the District Collectors and Superintendents of Police in this regard.
