Bhind (MP), Aug. 28 -- The Madhya Pradesh Congress has strongly criticized the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government following a confrontation between BJP legislator Narendra Singh Kushwah and District Collector Sanjeev Shrivastava over issues related to a fertiliser shortage and illegal sand mining in Bhind district.
During his visit to Bhind yesterday, Congress state president Jitu Patwari took aim at the government, stating that MLA Kushwah had gheraoed the Collector's residence over a fertiliser shortage while the Collector was working to curb illegal sand mining.
Later, the MLA was observed indulging in hooliganism at Shrivastava's door. "Is the Collector corrupt or the BJP legislator a hooligan?" Patwari asked.
