Patna, Aug. 21 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today underlined his government's efforts for the welfare of the Muslim community, asserting that madarsa teachers in the state were now paid salaries equal to those of government school teachers.
Speaking at the centenary celebration of the Bihar State Madarsa Education Board in Patna, Kumar said here that after coming to power his government registered the madarsas and ensured the salary of madarsa teachers should be at par with the government school teachers across the state.
