Moscow, May 13 -- French President Emmanuel Macron will pay his first state visit to the United Kingdom with his spouse Brigitte from July 8-10, Buckingham Palace said on Tuesday.
"The President of the French Republic, His Excellency Emmanuel Macron, accompanied by Mrs Brigitte Macron, has accepted an invitation from His Majesty The King to pay a State Visit to the United Kingdom from Tuesday 8th July to Thursday 10th July 2025," Buckingham Palace wrote on X.
UK King Charles III and Queen Camilla will host the French leader and his spouse at Windsor Castle, the statement read.
It will be the first state visit by a French president to Britain since March 2008, when Queen Elizabeth II received then-French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
