Mumbai, Feb. 17 -- Mumbai, February 17, 2026 - French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Mumbai late on Monday night for a three-day official visit to India, where he is set to hold crucial bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi this afternoon, signalling a fresh push to elevate the India-France strategic partnership to new heights in defence, artificial intelligence, critical minerals and emerging technologies.

President Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron landed at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport around midnight on Monday (February 16). They were warmly received by Maharashtra Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
