M K Stalin son-in-law's father cremated

Chennai, Sept. 12 -- Mr Vedhamoorthy, father of Tamil Nadu ChiefMinister M K Stalin's son-in-law Sabareesan, who died here yesterday,was consigned to flames today.

Mr Stalin, his son Udhayanidhi Stalin, Ministers, :s and leaders of DMK'salliance parties, paid their respects to the body of /vedhamoorthy at theBesant Nagar crematorium, where the last rites were held.

Mr Stalin in a message condoled his death and said "I was deeply shockedand saddened to hear the news of the passing of my son-in-law Sabareesan'sfather, Mr. Vedhamoorthy.""Mr. Vedhamoorthy's death is an irreparable loss to the entire family. I express mydeepest condolences to Mr. Sabareesan, who is grieving the loss of his father, andto everyone in the family", he said.
