Hyderabad, Sept. 26 -- The L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI) has reaffirmed its global leadership in ophthalmology research, with 22 of its clinician-scientists making it to the prestigious 2025 Stanford/Elsevier Top 2 per cent Scientists List.
The rankings, which are based on standardised citation metrics, recognise scientists with the highest career-long and annual research impact worldwide.
In the lifetime rankings, seven LVPEI-associated researchers have been recognised for their substantial contributions to ophthalmology.
