Aizawl, Aug. 8 -- Lunglei district in southern Mizoram has garnered national recognition for its flagship maternal and child health initiative, Project BLOOM, which was showcased at the 'Best Practices Seminar' organised by NITI Aayog at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on Friday.
The seminar, which highlighted successful interventions from 329 Aspirational Districts and 500 Aspirational Blocks nationwide, focused on the theme "Transforming Health: Breakthrough Interventions."
Lunglei's Deputy Commissioner, Navneet Mann, presented Project BLOOM (Better Living through Outreach, Optimal Maternal and Child Health), one of only 19 practices selected for recognition.
