Lucknow, Aug. 18 -- Lucknow will host the All India Presiding Officers Conference in January next year, and Speaker Om Birla has agreed to attend the event, Uttar Pradesh Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana announced today.
This event is proposed on January 20 and 21 where Assembly Speakers and Legislative Council Chairman from all over the country will participate in the conference.
During the press conference held here today, after the UP Assembly Monsoon Session, Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana said that the last conference was held in Patna. Before that it was held in Maharashtra and now it will be held in Lucknow.
