Lucknow airport set for round-the-clock operations
Lucknow, Aug. 16 -- Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport, Lucknow, will operate flights round- the-clock starting from today, ending its four-hour daily suspension of services.
The change follows the successful completion of runway carpeting and the construction of two additional taxiways, sources said.
The upgraded 2,744-meter-long runway now features a modernized lighting system, enhancing both safety and efficiency.
With the two new taxiways supplementing the existing five, aircraft will be able to move more swiftly from the apron to the runway. This improvement is expected to reduce congestion during peak hours and minimize delays.
