Patna, March 14 -- Lieutenant General (Retd) Syed Ata Hasnain was on Saturday sworn in as the Governor of Bihar at a formal ceremony held in the state capital.
The oath of office was administered by Chief Justice of Patna High court Sangam Sahu at a function organised at Raj Bhavan Patna.
The ceremony was attended by Bihar Legislative Council chairman Awdhesh Narayan Singh, Bihar assembly speaker Prem Kumar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, senior cabinet colleagues Kumar, legislators, Members of Parliament and several senior government officials.
