New Delhi, Sept. 10 -- Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will inaugurate the 11th Conference of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) India Region at the Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru tomorrow.
Om Birla is also the Chairperson of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association India Region, an official statement said.
The inaugural session of the three-day event (September 11-13) will be addressed by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh, and other dignitaries.
The inauguration ceremony, taking place on the steps of the Vidhana Soudha, will see the participation of presiding officers, including Chairpersons and Speakers from the legislatures of various States and union Territories.
