Jammu, Jan. 7 -- The Congress high command on Sunday appointed five coordinators for 2024 Lok Sabha seats in Jammu and Kashmir.

Party sources said that the appointment of coordinators has been announced in view of the preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha Polls scheduled in April-May.

"Appointment of former minister Yogesh Sawhney for Anantnag-Rajouri Lok Sabha seat will definitely boost up the cadre and bring the masses closer to the Congress party," party sources said.

They said that Ghulam Nabi Monga has been appointed coordinator for Baramulla seat, Abdul Rashid Dar for Srinagar, Ravinder Sharma for Udhampur seat and Naresh Gupta for Jammu seat.
