Puducherry, March 15 -- With the Lok Sabha election for Puducherry seat to be held on April 18,
the Ruling Congress party on Friday conducted a meeting at the PCC office here and held discussions with alliance party leaders.
Chief minister V Narayanasamy, PCC President and PWD Minister A Namasivayam, party functionaries besides leaders of all alliance partners took part in the meeting.
Later, talking to news persons, Mr Narayanasamy and Namasivayam said that the Congress would kick start its election campaign at Kanagachettikkupam, bordering Puducherry at 5 PM today.
Since, the candidate was not yet announced, Congress would canvass for "Hand" Symbol, they said.
