New Delhi, Feb. 6 -- After witnessing three adjournments on Thursday, due to disruption by Opposition members on the issue of deportation of Indian nationals from the US, the Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day.
As soon as the House re-assembled at 3:30 pm, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar made a statement on the deportation of Indians from the US.
During the statement of the Minister, the Opposition continued to create ruckus by raising slogans.
After the EAM's statement, Speaker Om Birla requested the agitating members to maintain order in the house so that general discussion on the Union Budget can take place.
