New Delhi, March 18 -- The Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day on Tuesday amid Opposition uproar, alleging rule violations during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech on the recently concluded Mahakumbh in Prayagraj.

Earlier, after the Prime Minister's statement on Mahakumbh, Opposition members created a ruckus due to which Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla adjourned the house till 1 pm.



As soon as the House reassembled at 1 PM, the Congress and other Opposition members came to the well of the house and started creating a ruckus.
