New Delhi, July 24 -- Both Houses of Parliament were adjourned until 2 pm after Opposition members caused an uproar, demanding the withdrawal of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process in Bihar.

For the fourth consecutive day of the monsoon session, the question hour in the Lok Sabha could not be held due to the uproar by members of Opposition parties.

As soon as Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla called for the question hour at 11 am, members of the Congress, Samajwadi Party, and other Opposition parties began creating ruckus, demanding the withdrawal of the SIR process in Bihar.
