New Delhi, Aug. 18 -- Science and Technology Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh today said in Lok Sabha while the country is celebrating the successful journey of Indian astronaut Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla to the International Space Station and the associated space achievements, opposition members have refrained from congratulating these accomplishments.
Dr. Singh began a special discussion on India's space programme, which holds a key role in realising the nation's vision of becoming a developed country and producing the first Indian "astronaut-2047" at the International Space Station.
