Kolkata, Dec. 20 -- : Prime Minister Narendra Modi's scheduled visit to Taherpur in Nadia district ran into uncertainty on Saturday morning after dense fog prevented his helicopter from landing at the venue.
The chopper, which took off from Dum Dum airport at 10.33 am, was forced to return due to low visibility. Modi was expected to reach Taherpur by 11.15 am.
Officials said the Prime Minister is currently waiting at Dum Dum airport as weather conditions continue to remain unfavourable. There is a possibility that he may travel to Taherpur by road if visibility does not improve.
