Amaravati, April 11 -- The low-pressure area formed over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal observed on Thursday has become less marked, according to the Meteorological Centre on Friday.
However, the associated cyclonic circulation persists over the same region and extends up to 1.5 km above mean sea level.
The trough that previously extended from West Rajasthan to North Vidarbha now runs from West Rajasthan to Coastal Andhra Pradesh, passing through East Rajasthan and the cyclonic circulation over Northwest Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha at 0.9 km above mean sea level.
