Amaravati, Nov. 21 -- An upper air cyclonic circulation persists over the central parts of the Strait of Malacca, extending up to 5.8 km above mean sea level. Under its influence, a low-pressure area is expected to form over the southeast Bay of Bengal around November 22, 2025.
According to the Meteorological Centre on Thrusday, the system is likely to move west-northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the central south Bay of Bengal around November 24. It may continue on the same track and strengthen further over the southwest Bay of Bengal during the following 48 hours.
