Chennai, Feb. 22 -- The Low Ppressure Area over the Bay has become well marked and it would gradually recurve in thenext 48 hrs, even as southern and Northern districts of Tamil Nadu expected to get rains for the next 2-3 days.
In an update, Met office on Sunday said yesterday's Low Pressure Area of southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean moved west-northwestwards and lay as a Well Marked Low Pressure area over southwest Bay of Bengal at 0530 hrs today.
It is likely to continue to move west-northwestwards initially and then gradually recurve northeastwards over southwest Bay of Bengal during next the 48 hrs.
