Amaravati, Aug. 25 -- The upper air cyclonic circulation over northwest Bay of Bengal off the Odisha-West Bengal coasts persists between 1.5 & 5.8 km above mean sea level, tilting southwards with height.
Under its influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the same region during the next 48 hours, the Meteorological Centre said on Monday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that the trough now runs from upper air cyclonic circulation over south Haryana and adjoining northeast Rajasthan to the centre of cyclonic circulation over the northwest Bay of Bengal off the Odisha-West Bengal coasts across south Uttar Pradesh, northeast Madhya Pradesh, north Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and southern parts of Gangetic West Bengal between 1...
