Amaravati, July 13 -- The upper air cyclonic circulation over northwest Bay of Bengal adjoining West Bengal and north Odisha coasts lay over north Bay of Bengal and extends upto 5.8 km above mean sea level tilting south westwards with height.
Under its influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal areas of West Bengal and Odisha during the next 24 hours, the Meteorological Centre said on Sunday.
In its daily weather report here, the weatherman said thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are likely to occur at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next five days.
