Bhubaneswar, Sept. 26 -- The low-pressure area formed over north Odisha and adjoining Bay of Bengal moved erratically and presently lies over north-west Bay of Bengal off the south Odisha coast, the Centre for Environment and Climate (CEC) of SOA, deemed to be a university here, said today.

It was expected to move in a westerly direction over south Odisha towards the Maharashtra-Gujarat coast and the movement would continue till September 28, a CEC bulletin said.

Under its influence, light to moderate rain was continuing across Odisha today and might continue tomorrow, it said.
