Kolkata, Aug. 19 -- Leader of Opposition in West Bengal Suvendu Adhikari today claimed the state education system is on the verge of collapse owing to the TMC's government's deliberate negligence and political maneuvering and has sought immediate intervention of Governor CV Ananda Bose.
He said that a 15-member BJP delegation led by him had called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan yesterday and submitted a memorandum seeking his swift action to save the state education system and future of the youth.
He pointed out that over three months have passed since the Higher Secondary Results (Class XII) were announced, yet the admissions to the Government Colleges remain stalled.
