Srinagar, Feb. 21 -- Leader of Opposition in J&K Assembly and senior BJP leader Sunil Sharma on Saturday accused the Omar Abdullah government of "betraying the youth" by "outsourcing nearly 24,000 posts", alleging it undermines job opportunities for local aspirants.
Sharma said he raised the issue in the Assembly, questioning the Abdullah government's promise of providing 100,000 jobs within 180 days but was now "justifying the outsourcing of 24,000 positions." He claimed outsourcing to a private company had "shattered the dreams" of educated youth awaiting recruitment.
He called the outsourcing of 24,000 posts to a company "a big betrayal of the youth of Jammu and Kashmir" and warned of public anger if the decision is not reversed.
